THANK YOU CANOERS 10/16/2011
A special Thank You goes out to all the canoers, for an amazing year! We had a blast and hope ya'll did too! Maybe next year we will be able to get on the water sooner in the year! This year the river levels didn't come down until after July 10th, so it was a slow start to the canoe season! Hope to see everyone again next year! Thanks to all our friends!!! We are super excited at White River Outfitters! We are opening a cabin rental April 1, 2012 (no joke) haha! Reservations are being taken now! We will be posting pictures on the cabin rental page of the cabin in progress! We can't wait.....it will be Beautiful!!! Let us know if you have questions, we would love to help! Thanks to all!!! NO PORTAGE TRIP 08/07/2011
As we are approaching the middle of summer most rivers are getting fairly low water levels. We are located on a larger part of the White River where we have no problems with having to portage your canoe/kayak anytime throughout the trip! We had customers going up until November last year and there was still no problems! CANOE/KAYAK River Trips 07/21/2011
FINALLY.....the weather is HOT, but perfect for the water! The river is back down to normal pool. We are ready for canoe and kayak trips on the White River in scenic Martin County! We would love to get you out on the water for some relaxing time away from everyday hussle and bussle! Fill out the reservation form under the canoe and kayak rentals tab, to the left! Live.....Life! Canoe Trips River Levels 06/25/2011
Unfortunately the storms and river levels have but a damper on the canoe season so far this year! This weekend the river levels are showing 11' our trip cut off level is 8'. So make sure if you are planning a canoe trip to check the river levels on the canoe/kayak rentals tab! We would rather be safe than sorry! Hopefully we can get back into the paddle of things! :) Boating Checklist 06/10/2011

Want to get out of the office for a day or have a weekend trip with family and friends....coming canoeing on the Senic White River in peaceful Martin County with WRO! With all the high river levels this spring we are FINALLY down between 4 and 5 foot levels....PERFECT for canoeing! The Shoals to Hindostan Falls trip is the most senic with lots of natural rock bluffs and tree lined edges, with very little farm land. You will see mulitiply sets of eagles, ducks, blue herions and many other gorgeous animals! This is a 13.5mile and 5-6hr trip, not to short and not to long! We will put you in at the Shoals boat ramp and take you out at the Hindostan Falls boat ramp (the boat ramp is about a mile up from the falls.) It sounds bigger than what it actually is! Hope to see you soon! Don't forget Sunscreen :) | ArchivesOctober 2011 Categories |
