River trips on the White River are offered
April through November. Mon-Sat (Sunday reservations only); however, river water levels
may impact trip availability. Launch Times are
9am, 10am and 11am.
If you would like to take a trip outside of these months or launch times, please contact us and we'll be glad to work with you to make it happen!

We supply Old Town Canoes and kayaks!
| The canoes have comfortable seats with back rest and cup holders.
Kayaks are singles, tandems or sit on tops. For children riding in the middle we provide a throw-able to sit on. |
River Trip Run Down
* Launch times are at 9a.m., 10a.m. and 11a.m., reservations recommended.
* You will begin by meeting at White River Outfitters store on Main Street Shoals (South on Main Street, 4th building on the left).
* Here you will sign the liability forms, pay and go over the river maps. There are no restrooms at the boat ramp so when you are at the store, make sure to take care of business.
* You will than meet us at the Shoals Boat Ramp, which is 4 blocks from the store. We have you park at the boat ramp because there is a large parking lot compared to the minimal parking on Main Street.
* At the boat ramp we will get the canoes unloaded, fit you up with a lifejacket and paddle. We will go over some more safety instructions and help you get on your way. If you have a young child riding in the middle of your canoe we will give them a throw able cushion to sit on.
* This Shoals to Hindostan Falls trip is about 5-6hrs long and 13.5miles long.
* You will go under the Shoals Hwy Bridge at the beginning of trip, when you approach the 2ndHwy Bridge at the mile mark, you will need to call or text us when you get to the bridge. When you call or text, make sure it is before you get to the bridge, you lose service completely after this point.
* After you go under the bridge there is about a 1hr to 1-1/2hr left of the trip.
* We will meet you at the Hindostan Fall boat ramp. You will hear the falls from a distance but you will not be close to them, the boat ramp is about a mile before the falls.
* Once you land your canoe we will get them loaded along with the lifejackets and paddles. We will collect trash if needed.
* Everyone will load up in the van and we will head back to the Shoals Boat Ramp, which is about a 10 minute drive.
* This will be the end of your adventure on the relaxing and scenic White River in Martin County!

WRO, Hey guys, I just wanted to take a minute and give you a huge THANKS! We took your river trip
last Saturday from Shoals to Hindostan Falls and it was an absolute blast! This was our first time canoeing on the white river and definitely won't be our last, you guys helped make the trip the best one we've ever taken anywhere. I also want you to know how much we appreciate you guys letting us take our time and
accommodating our schedule, that was a huge plus. Every person in our group was having about the good time they had and we've pretty much decided that you will be our first choice from here on out when we decide to go canoeing. Thanks again! We'll be seeing you again soon!
