What a great trip. My girlfriend and I realy enjoyed our time on the water from Shoals to the falls. The owners were so nice and helpful in getting us ready to go. My girlfriend was so happy that after we were picked up, we were able to make a side trip to see tha actual falls. something she hadn't seen since she was a child. We were so pleased that we are planning on taking the kids on this trip in the fall.

Wow! What a great trip! Our White River canoe trip in 2009 was the first such trip we took with our kids. The folks at WRO were fantastic, with suggestions for things to watch for and pointers about the river. The kids, who were skeptical about the trip at first, are now anxious to return. We'll definitely work with White River Outfitters on our next trip!

We did the Shoals to Hindostan Falls trip and we really enjoyed it. The view was spectacular, the price was reasonable, and the service was fantastic. The folks at White River Outfitters were quite helpful and very friendly. This river and outfitter were both superior to the others I've been to. Normally I'm reluctant to repeat a trip because I would rather use that time to see something new, but I will definitely repeat this one- the wildlife, seclusion, and rocks were beautiful enough to bring me back many times. Hopefully I can go back before the warm weather is gone.

I have taken a one day trip solo this summer and plan on a second one here real soon. Even with little advance notice they were extremely helpful in setting me up for a trip. I recommend any one seeking to do a river trip to contact them. And their prices for a trip cant be beat!

To take a break, my brother and I decided on a whim to canoe down the white river. Having grown up in Shoals, I'm amazed that I hadn't thought to do this before.

The view from the river was amazing. I saw landscape and wildlife as I rarely got to see it. A wild turkey barreling through the trees and taking flight to cross the river (reminded me of why does the chicken cross the road); a bald eagle lazily gliding over the river to land gracefully on an overhanging branch; a huge catfish making its way downstream - a fisherman's dream; a rocky riverbank where I posed prettily for pictures; a felled tree to climb up on and each lunch; a small sandbar to see muscle shells.

I had a great time and the service was above reproach. I would whole heartedly recommend this excursion to anyone who would like to see a bit of nature from a safe and secure vantage point.

I want to thank Cody & Michelle for such a wonderful time. My friend and I went on an overnight canoe/camping trip. When we arrived in Shoals, IN from Lafayette, IN, Michelle greeted us with a friendly smile and was very helpful. Cody made sure we were well taken care of and then we were off to the river. The view on the white river was spectacular. The paper guides given to us at the start were very helpful. I've been to Turkey Run in the past and it lacks in comparison to the White River East Fork. We always had contact with White River Outfitters if we needed anything during the trip. That made a HUGE difference as well. They worked with our limited time schedule and made this a perfect trip to remember forever!! Thank You So Much!! We look forward to doing this trip again many times in the future.

Hey guys, I just wanted to take a minute and give you a huge THANKS! We took your river trip last Saturday from Shoals to Hindostan Falls and it was an absolute blast! This was our first time canoeing on the white river and definitely won't be our last, you guys helped make the trip the best one we've ever taken anywhere. I also want you to know how much we appreciate you guys letting us take our time and accommodating our schedule, that was a huge plus. Every person in our group was raving about the good time they had and we've pretty much decided that you will be our first choice from here on out when we decide to go canoeing. Thanks again!
