As part of a nice getaway vacation at the French Lick Resort, my wife and I booked a relaxing Wednesday canoe trip right after Labor Day weekend. Professional operation with emphasis on catering to our desires. Friendly doesn't do this outfit justice. Our first time on the White River and they made sure we knew what to expect and what sights to see.

The 13 mile stretch of river we navigated had no development to speak of, very peaceful. Nice island to picnic on just past the half-way point and some nice rock formations. Even with 2 months without rain (not counting the last 30 minutes of our trip : ), water level was not an issue. Highly recommend for any family or romantic outing!

My 13 yr old daughter and I rented two kayaks over Labor Day weekend. I called ahead and reserved the boats and they had everything in the truck waiting for us. The run from Shoals to Hindostan is a really good trip. Can't say enough about how friendly they were. After you finish the trip go over to Velma's and get some home cooked food. Thanks for a great trip!
